GOURMET ON THE LAKE CATERING LTD. provides full-service catering including food, staffing, rentals, beverages, tents, flowers and other services. Talk to us about your event needs.

Policies

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure event date and confirm catering

• GOURMET ON THE LAKE CATERING LTD. accepts cheque or cash only.

• Following the event, the balance owing is to be mailed the 1^st business day post event.

• Number of guests must be confirmed one week prior to function, and may not be reduced after this date

• Any changes to menu must be made at least one week prior to function

• Any changes to menu and/or increase in numbers less than two business days prior to function are subject to a $50 charge on top of any additional costs due to increased numbers, etc.

• 6% GST and 8% PST are added to all catered events

• Gratuity is not added and left up to the discretion of the client.

Deliveries

• A delivery charge of $50 will be added for drop-offs requiring no set-up, within the Muskoka region

• No staff service fees will be added to deliveries requiring no set up

• Prices increase according to deliveries outside of the Muskoka region, please inquire.

Administration Fee of 20%

• The Administration Fee of 20% is added to the total, before taxes, of your menu, rentals, flowers, beverages, and any other products or services GOURMET ON THE LAKE CATERING LTD. coordinated or purchased for your event

• This fee is not added to staff hours worked 

The Administration Fee of 20%
covers the following:

• Chef’s menu customization

• Liaising with suppliers of rental equipment, flowers, decor, music etc.

• Conversing and coordinating with the client regarding specifics of the event

• On-site inspection

• Gas mileage for all staff to and from the site of the catered event

• Driving time for all staff to and from the site catered event

Staffing Rates

Staff requirements are based on the number of guests, the menu, and the style of the event. The chef is required at all functions.  GOURMET ON THE LAKE CATERING LTD. will recommend the number of staff required for your event. On-site staff services are based on a 4-hour minimum.  Please note that travel time for all staff is covered in the Administration Fee of 20% and staff hours billed for are on-site of the catered event only.

Bartenders $35 per hour

Rentals
We provide full service rentals, including linens, flatware, platters and dinnerware, tables, chairs, etc. Rentals are based on individual event requirements. GOURMET ON THE LAKE CATERING LTD. is proud to provide rentals from Muskoka Party Rentals.
